What If

Anita is just five years old and lives in a slum in Bangalore, India.
This short film follows Anita on a normal day while she looks after her sibling, cleans the home and collects water to help support her family.
The footage, which is currently being shown on UK TV poses the question 'What if Anita's life didn't have to be like this? What if children like Anita had a sponsor?

I've thought on several occasions that I needed to sponsor a child, but I have yet to take action.......I'm putting it on my to-do's!

Thanks for the reminder.

hi stardust and wayfaring,
It broke my heart when I see that this children have to take a lot of resposibility in her life in such a tender age. While my son could run around carelessly, can enjoy plenty of toys, have loads to eat, she had to help her parents, taking care her sibling etc.
I think our young generation need a reality check, I determine to send my son for gap year in indonesia one day!
