Family picture

As the norm, every year we did an ameteur family picture, here is one of them (which unfortunately did in a rush, and with poor natural lighting because our bedroom just so dark without a strong sunlight from outside).

But still, better to have one than none.

thanks sharilyn,
in fact I think it is too yellow! But nothing I can do to it, I already GIMP this one so much to make it looks less yellow.

It's a lovely portrait....really

I see your comment about the yellow...maybe you could try shooting in raw so that you have the ability to adjust the white balance. Although I don't know if you can do that in gimp?!

I like the lighting too, but understand it was not your desired effect.
Do you change your white balance setting? sometimes this can help, but only before you that the shot. :) he he

Dear J.H., this is a stunning family picture, and I truly feel that you have so much to thank the Lord for about it. The blessed look on your faces, the gorgeous set up, and the warm lighting to complement it all. What's more to ask? This picture tells it all!

Sorry for being away for so long, as my parents have been visiting me and just gone back. I have so much to check up later. Missed you. =) Hugs.

wayfaring,
I try to do white balance adjustment, didn't seem to help much. I like your idea about shooting the image as RAW, but... I only have 128 MB memory.

liss,
it is very dark outside these days, it's rain and rain and rain in UK. And all of my lightbulbs is yellow :-(

Stardust,
your parents are in Japan now? GREAT! Well, I think being with your family probably the second greatest gift (after salvation) for Christmas, lucky you! Enjoy your time then.
