Stop 7 : Keukenhof - the ultimate tulip experience

I invite you to join us visiting one of the most visited, best garden, in the world.
Keukenhof ("Kitchen garden", Dutch pronunciation: [ˈkøːkənˌhɔf]), also known as the Garden of Europe, is situated near Lisse, Netherlands, and is the world's largest flower garden. According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7,000,000 (seven million) flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares.
Keukenhof is open annually from the last week in March to mid-May. The best time to view the tulips is around mid-April, depending on the weather.

For 14 EUR, you can see yourself in the midst of this beautiful garden. A helpful tip, arrive close to the opening time of the park to avoid hunderds of tour group that arrive later on the day.

*Warning:bandwidth sucking pictures ahead*

Honey, you got my heart bursting with flowers in side! What a wonderful timing that you're there, I'm sure the spendor of tulips lasted for your visit. We missed Keukenhof on our honeymoon trip, and it was regretful. Praying that we'll be able to make up for it some time later. Thanks for the picts!

I knew the tulip pictures were going to make me drool. Didn't expect to see such marvelous portraits of your son, too! Well, all your family pictures are always wonderful. But you have some spectacular poses in here! Love the new header. Just love it!

Just stunning. How wonderful to roam through the gardens. That blog header is amazing too.

To answer your question about what lens I used in my last post, the last shot was taken with 50mm (1.2) at f5.0 1/1600. It's my favorite shot of the day>

wow, thanks for such overwhelming comments!

@maryann : thanks for your info :-) wow, your 1.2 lens seems to able to do anything!

@stardust : yes they are a bit late this year, probably due to too much snow in winter.
